Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta 2011
Baby Tonga, supported by Strongbow, was a proud overall second in the Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta 2011. Chartered by the owners of The Goat (based in Sydney), Baby Tonga encountered a strong opposition from Australian Maid, who ended up winning the final trophy. However, we were proud winners of the Tiger Trophy, which celebrates the best results for the passage races.

The Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta is Malaysia’s foremost sailing event. Established in 1990, RMSIR is held annually in November over a nine-day period – starting at Port Klang, sailing through to Pangkor Island, Penang and finally finishing in Langkawi.

Most yachts then proceed to Phuket to participate in the King’s Cup Regatta – considered to be Asia’s biggest and most exciting regatta.

Since 2008, Baby Tonga has participated and won in several major regional and national regattas.
